Gel pen drawing on black gessoed watercolor paper. 9 x 12 inches. 2022. Made during my Artist In Residency shop hours at Grover’s Curiosity Shop, where I had forgotten to bring my preferred gel pen palette, and was invited to use red and green. I typically despise this combo, but I fell in love with it here. Stuff like this can be such a gift! So grateful for this incidental opportunity to stretch beyond my comfort zone of color choices.
